What: Talking things over...
Derek was in his motel room, a marker in hand, highlighting rent advertisements in the newspaper while he talked on the phone to a trusted friend back in Chicago, arranging for his possessions to be shipped to Mystic Falls.
Hearing a knock at the door, he left his paper where it was and got up to answer the door, "Hold on, someone's at the door," Opening the door, he saw Diana standing there, "Gotta go, Gary, it's Di. Thanks man. I will. Yeah, I'll call when I've got an address." He disconnected, moving aside so she could come in, "Come on in, Di. Gareth said to say hi. He's packing up the apartment in Chicago for me." |

What: Casting a spell
It was a little after midday when Edmond and Tricia arrived. They came in separate cars, and although Edmond got to the the address Audrey had given him first, he waited until the witch had arrived before he approached the house.
"How've you been, Tricia?" Edmond asked as he rang the doorbell bell. He knew Patricia quite well because she'd been a student of his previous witch.
"Pretty good," Trick responded with a smile as they waited, "I've been working on some new designs. I'll bring them in for you to have a look." |

Where: Starting at Osmosis and walking to the Carnival
What: Fun & Games
Hayley had brought a change of clothes with her to work, and after she finished her shift, she slipped into the ladies room to get changed and freshen up her make-up. When she emerged, she was wearing a pretty silky satin top, with a plunging neckline, in a deep teal colour that brought out her eyes, black velvet jeans, and cute sandals. She was also wearing a black collar with a purple kitty bell and a heart shaped tag engraved with her name. Cute. Or she hoped so, anyway.
She still had a little time before Caleb was due to show up, so she sat down, took her notepad out of her bag, drew the mechanical pencil from the spiral binding and began tweaking the lyrics she'd started writing the previous night, quietly humming the songs melody to herself. |
